Pnb Metlife India Insurance Company Limited IPO Details

Pnb Metlife India Insurance Company Limited Company was established on April 11, 2001 at Bengaluru, Karnataka as MetLife India Insurance Company Private Limited, as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956. Further, our Company obtained the certificate of registration from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (“IRDAI”) to undertake life insurance business on August 6, 2001.

Pursuant to the conversion of our Company to a public limited company and as approved by our Shareholders pursuant to a special resolution dated December 4, 2007, the name of our Company was changed to MetLife India Insurance Company Limited and a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies, Karnataka at Bengaluru (the “RoC”) on January 9, 2008. Subsequently, the name of our Company was changed to its present name as approved by our Shareholders pursuant to a special resolution dated January 16, 2013 and a fresh certificate of incorporation was issued by the RoC on January 22, 2013.
